Reclamation
30x24" oil on canvas.
This work has a special personal story. My first dive as a certified diver was at a Japanese shipwreck off the coast of Amed, Bali. Seeing how nature had reclaimed the rusted metal was breathtaking—coral growing from the windows, an eel nesting in a cannon, entire ecosystems thriving in what was once a vessel of war. This piece embodies the resilience of nature and the feminine grace that absorbs and transforms destructive force into something generative.
This painting is sold unframed.
